Véronique de Viguerie – 100 Photos for the Freedom of Press

07.03.19

On the eve of International Women’s Rights Day, RSF unveils the 60th issue of its collection “100 photos for freedom of the press” devoted to the incredible work of Véronique de Viguerie.
Winner of the Visa d’or Paris Match News and the Visa d’or Humanitarian of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in 2018, Véronique de Viguerie is a seasoned photojournalist. Accompanied by her sister in pen, Manon Quérouil-Bruneel (author of the preface), she can be found on all fronts, alongside the armed militias of Nigeria, Kurdish fighters against the Islamic state in Iraq, but also industry insiders in China … From these intense moments, she was able to find the best angle to bring us powerful and poignant images, to be discovered in this new album.

Special feature “Journalists in the Narco’s Sights”: in Colombia, investigating drug cartels and their networks is as indispensable as it is dangerous.
