CELC is the only European agro-industrial organization grouping and federating all stages of flax and hemp production and processing.
It is the privileged interlocutor of 10,000 European companies, thus controlling the fibre from the plant to the finished product. Founded in 1951, the CELC is a place for reflection, economic analysis, consultation of the sector and strategic orientation. The Confederation creates an environment favourable to the competitiveness of industrial companies. An action that is internationally oriented by stimulating innovation and relying on the values of natural fibers with confirmed environmental qualities.
Through the Textile Cluster, it promotes the European industry in the fashion and lifestyle sectors. With the creation of the Technical Pole and its European Scientific Council, the CELC is committing its industrialists to the future and new technical outlets such as eco-construction and high-performance composite products.
