VINCENT MUNIER – FORESTS, ON THE LOOKOUT FOR LIFE
100 photos for freedom of the press – No. 82

A poetic and committed proposal that will resonate in an exhibition presented at the La Gacilly Photo Festival from June 1 to October 4, 2026.

Presale campaign launched.

Release on Thursday 4 June in newsstands and bookstores throughout the country.

After a first volume published in 2018, which became a major success of the collection, Reporters Without Borders continues its dialogue with Vincent Munier, focusing this time on his work in the world’s forests. The Vosges first, where the photographer grew up and still lives: a territory of mists, diffuse lights and animal apparitions. And elsewhere, from Bhutan to the boreal forests.

Vincent Munier gives us the opportunity to rethink our place in the living. Louin of the spectacular, he favors suggestion and refinement, calling us to slow down and observe. This book reminds us that the forest is an essential common good, on which the balance of the planet depends.

With the unpublished contributions of Gilles Clément, Simonetta M2, Stéphanie Thiébault, Estelle Zhong Mengual and a foreword by Alexis Jenni.

An unmissable event of the collection, the last book puts into words and images the primary function of this album: Finance RSF’s fight for press freedom everywhere in the world.
