Portrait(s) – 2026

The 14th edition of Portrait(s), Rendez-vous photographique de Vichy, France, presents, from June 19 to October 4, 2026 :
A solo exhibition, a thematic exhibition, three transmission projects and two invitations to residencies.

– The exhibition is a journey through the museum’s vast catalogue under the guidance of its director of collections, Sylvain Besson, who explores this diversity through the prism of portraiture on the Esplanade du lac d’Allier.

Residency commisions
Following on from Namsa Leuba in 2025, CAVILAM-Alliance Française is hosting Julia Gat as part of its Francophone photography residency programme this year. Having explored Baden-Baden (Germany) in 2024 and Karlovy Vary (Czechia) in 2025, Patrick Tournebœuf continues his exploration of Europe’s major spa towns listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. This year, he is presenting spectacular images of Bath in England.
