Claire Adelfang – Off Stage

The Rabouan Moussion Gallery presents an exhibition of photographs by Claire Adelfang.

After graduating from the Beaux-Arts de Paris in 2010, Claire Adelfang quickly turned to the practice of photography with a particular attention for architectural representation. She tends to focus on peripheral details and what is not visible at first glance. In each of her series, her protocol remains the same, with the use of a square format and tight frontal compositions. Her large formats allow her to fully immerse herself in the heart of an element, even reaching a form of abstraction. Claire Adelfang deliberately prolongs the mystery of the place through unpublished works from the Versailles estate and the Palais Garnier.
