33rd Bayeux Award Calvados-Normandy for War Correspondant

From 5 to 11 October 2026, Bayeux is welcoming the 33rd Bayeux Award for war correspondents. It represents a tribute to the work carried out all year long by leading reporters and an opportunity to meet and interact with the general public, especially school students.

She is one of the BBC’s most famous faces and voices: Lyse Doucet, 67, has accepted an invitation from the Bayeux Award to chair the jury this coming October. It is “a great responsibility” that the journalist, herself a winner of the 2014 Bayeux Award, fully appreciates.
