Polygone Riviera

Polygone Riviera, inaugurated at the end of 2015 in Cagnes-sur-Mer (Var) and designed by the Unibail-Rodamco group and the Socri company, is the first open-air shopping center in France. A place to live, it combines shops, relaxation and leisure areas, but also culture, with contemporary art at the heart of its spaces.
Jérôme Sans, artistic director, was invited to imagine the “Format Paysage” project, by inscribing the works of eleven artists permanently in the site as events that transpose the daily life of the place into other inspiring realities. An intergenerational panorama of contemporary creation, on a local, national and international scale.
Echoing this ambitious set of permanent works, a temporary exhibition takes place every year, within the site, in a dynamic partnership with the institutions and cultural actors of the region.
