Jean-Baptiste Senegas

Diver and maritime registered, Jean-Baptiste Sénégas is intimately linked to the world of the sea and fishing. He is also responsible for the CESTMed association: a care center for sea turtles (www.cestmed.org).
A specialist in ambrotype (chamber photography on glass plate), Jean-Baptiste Sénégas focuses on man by making his black and white portraits. Through this frank and direct face to face, he renders the power of the glances, brings out the features of the faces and the stories they carry.
