The Daniele Tamagni Award, created in 2019, is an international photography grant that funds a graduate scholarship. Designed to sponsor young and emerging photographers, this initiative promotes the dissemination of African culture, its creativity, the impact of its visual aesthetics on the continent and the diaspora, and the in-depth exploration of photographic media.
It ensures :
– funding tuition fees for the one-year training course in photojournalism and documentary photography (The Photojournalism and Documentography Course) at the Market Photo Workshop in Johannesburg, South Africa.
– the financing of current expenses during the training year in Johannesburg
– the realization of a portfolio entirely developed during this year of training. This will be presented to the different directors of photography present for the portfolio readings of Visa pour l’Image – Perpignan.
– The winner will also participate in the 3 days of Transmission pour l’image in Perpignan.
