Azzedine Alaïa and Christian Dior, two Masters of Haute Couture

The exhibition “Azzedine Alaïa and Christian Dior, Two Masters of Haute Couture” brings together nearly 70 models from both designers. The archives of the 1950s and creations by Azzedine Alaïa, all from the collections he has built with great care, today preserved within his foundation, converse with subtlety of purpose. Formal agreements, associations of hues, similarities in ornaments or inspirations, despite the decades that separate them, attest to the reconciliation of fashions and the time that these two great couturiers had for natural to lead and govern.
