Erwin Olaf – Berlin

Erwin Olaf will present a new series of photographs which were imagined after receiving the Vermeer price in 2011.
The photographer decides to leave his studio for the first time: «The surface was too limited. I wanted more space and architecture. Berlin is now the new center of Europe. We are living in a time that is in many ways comparable to 20 years. Once again, we’re dancing on a volcano, stuck in a kind of war. Everything could collapse tomorrow, or maybe today because of the crisis.»
