7th Visa pour l’Image – Perpignan

· Perpignan

02.09.95 → 17.09.95

Visa pour l’Image will present this year, a retrospective exhibition on Larry Burrow’s war in Vietnam. The Russian photographer, Evguenie Khaldeï, will be the guest of honor in Perpignan, with his incredible work on the Second World War, seen from the Russian side. On this occasion, he will meet the American photographer, Joe Rosenthal. Two great names in photojournalism from this period will meet for the first time in their lives. The work on religions by the humanist photographer Sabine Weiss will also be exhibited during these two weeks. The American photographer Jodi Cobb will show us her reportage on the Geishas, work published in the National Geographic Magazine.
The news of the year is to be seen throughout the six evenings of screenings.
